For macOS/Linux with Git installed. Your team must allow local plugin imports. Uninstall any marketplace copy of Dtwo before testing a local copy.

1. In a terminal, download the plugin repository into a new `dtwo-plugins` folder:

   ```bash
   git clone https://github.com/dtwoai/plugins.git dtwo-plugins
   ```

2. Copy the Dtwo plugin into Cursor's local plugins folder. Run this from the same directory as the previous command:

   ```bash
   mkdir -p ~/.cursor/plugins/local && test ! -e ~/.cursor/plugins/local/dtwo && cp -R dtwo-plugins/dtwo ~/.cursor/plugins/local/dtwo
   ```

3. Restart Cursor, or run **Developer: Reload Window** from the command palette. Open **Customize → Plugins** and look for **dtwo** under **Installed**. Select your user scope for a local installation.

4. Open **Customize → MCPs**, enable **dtwo**, and complete the browser sign-in.

</div>

## Verify the plugin works

Once the plugin is installed and connected, ask your client for something that only Dtwo can answer:

```text
List my Dtwo gateways and the policies attached to each.
```

If the plugin is wired up correctly, your client returns your gateways and their attached policies.
